Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
This policy explains how the Filwords mobile game (package living.developer.filwords, "the game") handles data. The developer is Living Developer. We try to collect as little as possible: the game works without registration or an account.
1. Data that stays on your device
Your progress (completed levels, coins, stars, achievements, day streak, language, theme, sound and vibration settings) is stored in the device memory. We have no access to it unless you turn on cloud saving yourself.
If you uninstall the game or clear its data, local progress is erased.
2. Data collected automatically
To run and improve the game we use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics. They collect: anonymous gameplay events (level start and end, hint usage, screens opened), crash reports and diagnostics, device and operating system information, device or app identifiers, and approximate location (country or city level, derived from the IP address).
We do not collect text typed by the player or precise location: the game does not ask for them.
3. Advertising
The game is free and shows ads through Google AdMob: a banner under the board, rewarded video and an ad after a chapter. To serve ads, Google may use the device advertising ID, the IP address and information about your device and how you interact with ads.
In regions where the law requires it (for example the EEA and the UK), you will be asked to give or withdraw consent before ads are shown. You can turn off ad personalization in Android settings ("Google → Ads") and reset or delete the advertising ID there.
Read more about how Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Where the law requires it, you can change your advertising choices at any time in the game: Settings → Ad privacy options.
4. Google Play Games (optional)
If you sign in to Google Play Games, a snapshot of your progress is stored in your Google account so you can continue on another phone. Google processes this data; we only access the snapshot needed to restore your progress. You can turn off cloud saving and delete the data in Google Play Games settings.
5. Notifications
The game can remind you about the daily puzzle. These notifications are created on the device itself, with no data sent to a server, and are enabled only with your permission. You can turn them off in the game or Android settings.
6. Purchases
The game may offer in-app purchases (for example removing ads or coin packs). Payments are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
7. We do not sell your data
We do not sell personal data and do not share it with third parties other than the services listed above (Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Google Play Games and Google Play), which process data under their own privacy policies.
Data is sent to these services over encrypted connections. Google may process it in the United States and other countries where it operates, under its own safeguards.
8. Children
The game is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.
9. Your rights and how to use them
You can: withdraw advertising consent and reset the advertising ID in Android settings; turn off notifications; sign out of Google Play Games and delete the cloud save; uninstall the game together with its local data.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or another region with similar laws, you may also request access to your data, its correction, deletion or restriction of processing. Write to us at the address below.
Legal basis (EEA and UK): we rely on your consent for personalized advertising and on our legitimate interest in running and improving the game for analytics and crash reports.
US residents: we do not sell personal data. Under some state laws, ad personalization by Google may count as "sharing"; you can opt out in Settings → Ad privacy options or in Android ad settings.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page and the date of the last update is shown at the top.
